The Transitional Room
The Transitional Room is the home for young 3 and 4 year old students. This specially prepared environment is structured to let the children develop physically, intellectually, socially, and emotionally. By incorporating freedom, movement, and knowledge of the child's sensitive period, the children can develop to their own potential.
In the Transitional Room, the children are introduced to practical life, sensorial, language, math and cultural areas. Each area has many materials to stimulate and challenge the children.
In this caring and nurturing environment, the children gain many skills necessary in developing them to their individual potential.
